Oticon Medical AB is currently looking for a Technical Sourcing Manager to play a pivotal role in our dynamic and experienced operations team. As a key liaison between our company and external stakeholders, you’ll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge products that make a real difference in the lives of patients.

As a Technical Sourcing Manager, you’ll enjoy a dynamic role with plenty of freedom to make an impact. Working closely with experienced and skilled colleagues, you’ll be at the forefront of our exciting roadmap, which includes an upcoming product launch. Key Responsibilities:

- Utilize your technical expertise to ensure product quality and optimize manufacturability of products in close cooperation with the suppliers
- Bridge the gap between design and manufacturing, considering factors such as cost, quality, manufacturing time, and material selection.
- Demonstrate proficiency in measurement techniques, particularly for fine tolerances.
- Employ a professional and structured approach to all aspects of your work, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Drive the establishment of process specifications, assembly instructions, and incoming inspections in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- Facilitate close cooperation with suppliers to ensure seamless operations.
- Coordinate and plan purchasing activities, including supplier selection and negotiation.
- Ensure purchasing and supplier input to designs, driving excellence in product development.
Preferred Skills and Experience:

- Technical, product, and quality orientation
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing techniques such as machining, milling, turning and injection molding of fine mechanics.
- Understanding of the connection between drawing and manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in measurement techniques for fine tolerances
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in supplier audits, preferably in the medical device industry
- Ability to independently and effectively drive process improvement and foster collaboration with internal and external partners, while naturally taking initiatives from initiation to completion
- Experience in price negotiation and supplier selection
