Head of Operations 

 As the Head of Operations, you will play a key role in driving the operational excellence of our company. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Operations (Supply chain management, Warehousing, Procurement, Supplier Development/Supplier Quality, Production planning and Logistics). 

Your main responsibilities will include: 

 Strategic vision: Develop and implement a strategic vision for operations that aligns with Ortomas overall goals and objectives 

Supply Chain Management: Optimize supply chain operations, and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand 

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, working closely with QA/RA team members to maintain a high level of quality and safety 

Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing operations team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities 

Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key KPIs to measure the effectiveness of operational processes, implementing improvements as needed 

Stakeholder management: Establish and nurture strategic relationships with suppliers, customers and other internal/external stakeholders 

 Qualifications and Experience 

• Solid experience in Operations (Contract manufacturing, Supply Chain management, logistics, procurement). Preferably within the Medtech industry 

• Strong project management skills with experience in implementing process improvements and managing change 

• Experience in managing operations in a global context, dealing with diverse stakeholders and cultures 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Fluent in written and spoken English 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making 

• Proven track record of successfully leading and developing teams 

• A degree in engineering, business or a related field is preferred
