Your Responsibilities:

  • Build “peer-to-peer” relationships and act as scientific resource and go-to-person for HCPs in the Alzheimer’s disease area regarding scientific queries and in-depth scientific information related to Alzheimer’s disease and treatment.
  • Responsibility for regional scientific educational activities.
  • Work in close collaboration with Key Account Managers and Regional Market Access in the joint BioArctic and co-promotion partner Eisai regional In-Field team to achieve common goals.
  • Identify gaps in the patient journey, including patient care, diagnostic requirements and procedures, and bottlenecks in the healthcare system and create plans to mitigate them.
  • Feedback knowledge from KOLs to the company for optimal life-cycle management.
  • Support initiation and implementation of medical projects, including phase IV studies and RWE studies.
  • Support other field-based staff at meetings and with relevant medical training when required.
  • Demonstrate and inspire the behaviors that reinforce BioArctic’s core values (Respect, Engagement, Collaboration, Responsibility)

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Educational Excellence: A Master’s degree in medical, pharmaceutical, or natural sciences is preferred, along with a demonstrated ability to present scientific data effectively. A PhD in medical, pharmaceutical or natural sciences is advantageous. Alternatively, relevant clinical education (e.g. nurse, psychologist) could also be suitable. Background in CNS diseases, particularly Alzheimer’s disease, is a plus.
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly within Medical Affairs, is highly desirable. Previous experience with both smaller biotech companies and big pharma companies is also a plus.
  • Strong Communicator: Proficiency in both Swedish and English, coupled with skills in digital communication tools, is essential for success in this role.
  • Other:

 

-Certification or training in ethical regulations for pharmaceutical promotion, coupled with an understanding of healthcare systems and development of therapy area-specific guidelines.

-Interaction with stakeholders, such as payers, KOLs, patient associations.

-Cooperation with other pharmaceutical companies, for example as co-promotion.

-Documented business acumen.

-Experience from running/supporting clinical studies with a focus on RWE and phase 4.

Additional Details:

  • Field-Based Role: This position requires frequent travel, up to 80% of the working time, to engage with healthcare professionals across the region.
  • Driving License Required: A valid driving license is necessary for this role.
  • You are living in the Stockhom/Uppsala region.
